Depending on the circumstances, this may be explicit consent, employment law duties, vital interests or legal claims.

We use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the website and to remember your privacy choices. These do not require consent.

You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the foot of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect any use before you withdrew it.
Our Cookie Policy lists each cookie and similar technology we use, with its provider, purpose and duration, and whether information is sent outside the United Kingdom. If we change the cookies we use in a way that requires fresh consent, we will ask you again.
Where information collected through cookies is personal information, this Privacy Policy applies to it.

11. How we protect information
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures, including access controls, password and account security, limited staff access, secure suppliers, device protection, backups where appropriate, staff confidentiality and procedures for handling suspected personal-data breaches. No internet service is completely secure, but we work to reduce foreseeable risks and respond promptly to incidents.

- object to processing based on legitimate interests and object at any time to direct marketing;
- withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent, without affecting earlier lawful use; and
- complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
These rights are not absolute. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law allows or requires it. We normally respond within one month and do not charge a fee unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
13. Marketing
We keep service communications separate from marketing. Where consent is required, marketing choices will be optional, specific and unticked. You may unsubscribe or object at any time. We may keep a minimal suppression record so we do not contact you again. We will follow the additional rules that apply to email, text, telephone and business-to-business marketing.
14. Automated decisions
We do not currently make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you solely by automated means. If this changes, we will explain the logic involved, the likely consequences and the rights available to you before the processing begins.
15. Children
Our website and services are not directed at children. We do not knowingly invite children to submit personal information. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate authority, please contact us.
16. External websites and social media
Links to third-party websites, maps, social media or payment pages are governed by those organisations' own privacy information. We are not responsible for their independent processing. Please review their notices before providing information.
17. Complaints
Please contact us first at info@keyjaypropertycleaners.co.uk so we can investigate. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or by telephone on 0303 123 1113. If you are unhappy with our response, your right to complain to the ICO is not affected.
18. Changes to this policy
We will review this policy when our website, forms, suppliers, services or legal duties change. The effective date and version number above show when it was last updated. We will make the current version available on the website and draw attention to material changes where appropriate.
